The Bureau of Indian Education intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Relation Insurance Services under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Haskell Indian Nations University (HINU) has been a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) for 19 years. HINU has carried insurance with Relation Insurance Services for this length of time. It is mandatory to carry catastrophic athletic injury insurance with Relation Insurance Services in order to be a member of NAIA. Haskell Indian Nations University must belong to NAIA in order to maintain an athletic program. The purpose of this procurement is to award based on a sole source requirement, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. A solicitation will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. However, interested parties may submit a description of their firm’s capabilities for satisfying this requirement, which demonstrates they possess the ability to successfully perform this effort.
