The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to award a non-competitive Fixed-Price contract modification to Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training (LM) of Orlando, FL to extend the period of performance on Year 7 Task Orders under Contract N68335-09-D-0006, to continue Performance Based Logistics (PBL) Support for the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS).  LM is the current provider of PBL support for CASS and is the one responsible source capable of providing the required in the time required.  Period of Performance will be five (5) months. The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 334519.

The Government intends to pursue this action under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source," therefore, this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this synopsis in writing that may be used by the government to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
