Naval Criminal Investigative Services (NCIS) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Sole Source purchase order for NCIS to purchase the following: FY13 MAINTENANCE RENEWAL FOR CASEMAP PRODUCT MAINTENANCE SUPPORT from LexisNexis Special Services, Inc. 1150 18th Street, NW, Suite 250, Washington, DC 20036 The proposed acquisition is to purchase maintenance renewal for Casemap product maintenance support. This Sole Source Justification is for the negotiation for continued maintenance support of Casesoft Products to include: CaseMap Suites, CaseMapTimeMap, TimeMap, TextMap Casesoft products are part of an information gathering software tool that NCIS currently uses for investigative work. This is an ongoing support maintenance renewal contract that includes maintenance release, upgrades to the software and other support. LexisNexis is the authorized source for Casemap Products and services. This requirement will be Brand Name Therefore, LexisNexis Special Servieces can provide all the requirement for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
