CITY OF GRESHAM CASCADE WELL NO. 6 Bids due 2:00 pm, May 3, 2022 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed bids for the Cascade Well No. 6 will be received at the front desk in the main lobby of Gresham City Hall, 1333 N.W. Eastman Parkway, Gresham, Oregon 97030, addressed to the Project Manager, Jason Branstetter, P.E. until May 3rd, 2022, AT 2:00PM local time. Late bids will be retained unopened. The bids will be publicly opened immediately thereafter in Confer ence Room 2A. The Engineer’s Estimate for this project is $1,100,000. The character of the work is removing and replacing existing stormwater inlets and pipe runs, and performing point repairs on defective pipe sections. The major quantities of work involved in this project are: QUANTITY, MEASUREMENT, ITEM 770 LF 26-inch Borehole w/ 22-inch Casing 120 LF 20-inch Borehole w/ 16-inch well screen Varies LS / Hours Aquifer Testing The project is to be completed within 180 calendar days Contract terms, conditions and specifi cations may be reviewed at the office of the Department of Environmental Services at Gresham City Hall. The apparent low bidder will be required to have the current edition of the City of Gresham Public Works Stand ards. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held Wednesday, April 13th, 2022 at 2:00pm,at the drilling site south of SE Stark Street and East of SE 223rd Avenue (see Exhibit A), site access via 22514 SE Stark Street This Project is for a public work and is subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law. This project is a Federal Aid project and subject to prevailing wage rate requirements under the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq.). Each workers in each trade or occupation that the contractor, subcon tractor, or other person who is a party to the contract uses in performing all or part of the contract, must be paid not less than the higher of the applicable state or federal prevailing rate of wage. The appli cable state or federal prevailing wage rate for this project shall be the most current wage rates published before the date of bid opening.
