CITY OF GRESHAMCASCADE GROUNDWATER PACKAGE 2B Bids Due 2:00 pm, May 23, 2023 NOTICE TO CONTRACTORSSealed bids for the Cascade Groundwater Package 2B will be received at the front desk in the main lobby of Gresham City Hall, 1333 N.W. Eastman Parkway, Gresham, Oregon 97030, addressed to the Project Manager, Jason Branstetter, P.E. until May 23rd, 2023, AT 2:00PM local time. Late bids will be retained unopened. The bids will be publicly opened immediately thereafter in Conference Room 2A. The Engineer's Estimate for this project is $19,915,000. The character of the work is water main construction. The major quantities of work involved in this project are: QUANTITY, MEASUREMENT, ITEM 7,453 LF, 36 - inch Class 52 DI Pipe 5,135 LF, 24 - inch Class 52 DI Pipe The project is to be completed within 620 calendar days Contract terms, conditions and specifications may be reviewed at the office of the Department of Environmental Services at Gresham City Hall. The apparent low bidder will be required to have the current edition of the City of Gresham Public Works Standards. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held Wednesday, May 10th, 2023 at 10:00am, in Conference Room 2A, at Gresham City Hall, 1333 NW Eastman Parkway, Gresham, OR 97030. This Project is for a public work and is subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law. This project is a Federal Aid project and subject to prevailing wage rate requirements under the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq.). Each workers in each trade or occupation that the contractor, subcontractor, or other person who is a party to the contract uses in performing all or part of the contract, must be paid not less than the higher of the applicable state or federal prevailing rate of wage. The applicable state or federal prevailing wage rate for this project shall be the most current wage rates published before the date of bid opening.
