This is a solicitation for the transportation and refurbishment of seven (7) containers to be delivered and installed in the Batallón de Fuerzas Especiales, Cantón de Fuerzas Especiales, Manzanillo del Mar Cartagena, Bolivar, Colombia.  The order of magnitude for this requirement is between USD $250,000 and $500,000. The estimated period of performance is 120 calendar days from the notice to proceed. This acquisition is issued under full and open procedures.
If you intend to submit a proposal, you should thoroughly examine all documents contained in this solicitation package. The USG has scheduled a site visit (see section L.10, FAR 52.236-27) and will hold a pre-proposal conference on January 27, 2020.  All prospective offerors are invited to attend. The conference will be held at the US Embassy Bogota, Colombia at 10:00 a.m. EST. If you plan to attend, you must confirm your attendance no later than January 23, 2020 by 12:00 p.m. EST as described in the Schedule B_M in this solicitation. See additional instructions in Section L.10.
Submit any questions you may have concerning the solicitation in writing and in English as described in the Schedule B-M (see L.9, FAR 52.236-27). Responses to the questions will be posted on the Beta.Sam.gov website (https://beta.sam.gov/). The deadline for proposal submission is February 24, 2020.
