The Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) intends to award an order on a sole source base to Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC for software maintenance for the SMT Scanning Electron Microscope. See attached Statement of Work and Limited Source Justification (LSJ) for further information. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The period of performance will be a base year and two option years. The software and maintenance is proprietary to the manufacturer. This notice is not a request for proposal. No solicitation document is available. At this time, no contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice; however, vendors may identify their interest and capability by providing a response not later than 4:00pm EST 9 August 2017.
