SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. The United States Air Force (USAF) is conducting this Sources Sought Notice in support of a market research survey to determine any interest and capability of potential sources. The USAF is attempting to determine sources capable of fulfilling a Cardiac Telemetry Equipment, Installation, and Training services requirement. This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation, synopsis of a solicitation, or any commitment on the part of the Government to later publish a solicitation. The Government will not reimburse the costs of preparing or submitting a response to this Sources Sought Notice. Any information submitted in response is strictly voluntary.

See attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the technical details of this Cardiac Telemetry Equipment, Installation, and Training services requirement.

All local and foreign (including United States) contractors must obey and meet all terms and conditions required to conduct business in Qatar. It is up to the contractor to determine these requirements including badging requirements; however for this requirement, the prime contractor shall maintain and provide evidence of the following:

a. Valid Commercial Registration issued by Ministry of Business and Trade.

i. Sponsorship Letters are no longer accepted by the Qatari Badging office and are not an acceptable substitute for a Commercial Registration.

ii. Commercial Registrations will be validated by the Host Nation Coordination Cell, local Contracting Office, and/or local Communications Squadron who will coordinate with the badging office.

b. Valid Commercial Registrations for any proposed subcontractor or acknowledgement of understanding that each sub-contractor shall have a valid Commercial Registration if using TCN/OCN labor.

The Government requests that interested offerors submit one copy of their responses of capability, to be received no later than 1700 local (Doha, Qatar) time on 30 June 2014, by the email address provided below. The response should be a company profile normally provided to the general public. All respondents must supply the following: Company name, address, CAGE code (if applicable), point of contact for information to include email and phone number, size of business, and if US or foreign owned. This is a Sources Sought Notice only. Qualified companies, who provide responses to this Sources Sought Notice, might be given an opportunity to submit a proposal in the future, if deemed appropriate by the Government.
