The U.S. Embassy, International Narcotics and Law Enforcement section (INL) Bogotá, Colombia has a requirement for the Construction of the Carabineros Camp for the Colombian National Police (CNP) Facilities in Finca Paraguay, Caucasia (Antioquia) Colombia.

The project consists in the construction of the CNP Carabineros Facilities which includes water well and the water supply and sewage utilities, as well as electrical utility for connectivity, kitchen, dining and bathroom facilities for the Colombian National Police (CNP) in Finca Paraguay at Caucasia, to support CNP Carabineros program at the existing CNP Facilities. The construction shall include the use of quality materials that are capable of withstanding tropical rainy climate.

The facilities consist of water well, water supply and sewage utilities, as well as electrical utilities including the transformer following the distribution and diameters shown in the attached drawings. The contractor shall also include water and sewage treatment plants, drainage system, earthwork, backfilling, water storage tank, kitchen, dining and bathroom facilities. The construction shall comply with the current standards of the Colombian Seismic Resistance Code (NSR Standard, 10), NTC 2050, RETIE, RETILAP, RAS, INVIAS, ENVIRONMENT STANDARDS, etc. as applied to each case.

The contractor shall be responsible for transportation, meals and lodging of the construction team on the work site (away from the project site), or as arranged with the CNP personnel. The contractor shall have a representative at the work site to receive materials, which shall be responsible for unloading materials and transporting it to the actual work site.

Place of Performance: Colombian National Police Finca Paraguay DIRAN CNP Facilities located in the city of Caucasia, Antioquia, Colombia. It is located at the northwest part of the country in the Atlantic Coast region, 7°59′N 75°12′W. It is located 693 Km from Bogota, capital city of Colombia, and can be accessed through commercial flights and by road. The elevation 150 m. (477 ft.) above sea level and the weather is dry.
