The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) is seeking information and recommendations -- including technical management, governance framework, and technical capabilities -- on the best business approach, given costs, risks, and benefits for the long term retention and management of Capstone email. The analysis, recommendations, and associated governance and technical needs arising from the selected approach will be critical for the Department's full scale implementation of Capstone. This is a Request for Information (RFI) created to seek feedback on: 1) the risks and benefits of recommended approaches, 2) identified governance needs, 3)recommended technical capabilities needed for implementation, including data management 4) potential other capabilities not described herein that would be beneficial to the Department of Justice. This request is intended for planning purposes only and the Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request. Responses to this RFI are due by 4:30 pm Monday, March 14, 2016.
