CANY-GARMIN INREACH ACTIVATION AND PLANS Special Notice for Sole Source The National Park Service, Lakewood MABO, intends to award a sole source service purchase order under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Other than Full and Open Competition procedures and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition procedures to Strohman Enterprises Inc. This services purchase is for activation of 11 Garmin InReach Explorer GPS/Satellite tracking devices and yearlong service plans for each device, February 2018-February 2019. Service will be Advanced Flex Plans allowing for unlimited SOS, tracking points, and location pings and 40 two text message communications per device per month. This plan is comparable to consumer based Freedom Plans, but allows for more than 3 devices to be linked together in one account for operational needs and flexibility or airtime use and allotment. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 334220. The size standard is 1,250. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however firms with expressed interest and capability are encouraged to respond. This notice is for informational purposes only. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
