1. Introduction This announcement is being issued in accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) Procurement Guidance T3.2.2.A.4, Cancelling a Screening Information Request. 2. Purpose The purpose of this announcement is to cancel SIR 693KA8-18-R-00004 for the Multi-Service Platform procurement. The FAA has taken this action because all proposals received in response to the SIR were priced significantly higher than the Government’s cost estimate. Additionally, the proposed prices varied substantially from proposal to proposal. These issues prevented the FAA from making a best value award decision. The FAA intends to issue a new SIR for the revised MSP requirement at a future date. 3.
