The George Washington and Jefferson National Forests are announcing the availability of a Prospectus for a special use permit for the operation and maintenance of Beartree and Grindstone Campgrounds located on the Mount Rogers National Recreation Area. One permit will be issued for both campgrounds. The Prospectus describes the business opportunity and provides instructions for submitting applications. Applications must be received by close of business (4:30 PM) on December 17, 2008 and must be submitted to Maureen Hyzer, Forest Supervisor, Attention: Ted Coffman, 5162 Valleypointe Parkway, Roanoke, VA 24019-3050.
