This is a notice of intent and not a request for a proposal. A solicitation document will not be issued and proposals will not be requested.

The contractor shall supply Camera Box with a light view chamber to provide full safety interlock, override electronic door lock for longer exposures and overhead white light with computer control of darkroom and camera/lens.

This is a very valuable and complex instrument which requires specialized knowledge of a variety of pieces of high technology equipment. This includes the following devices.

A true 16 bit, 1.4 megapixel cooled camera, 1.4 megapixel/5.5 megapixel using effective pixel technology , Motorized zoon lens with lens feedback, filter holder with UV filter-motor driven, UV Transilluminator 20x20 cm, neutral density filter, Epi white, Epi RGB/UV [LED lighting unit], visible light converter, 4 copies gene tools match analysis software, gene snap acquisition software, long pass 3 position or 7 position selector for Cy3, filter for 3 position or 7 position filter wheel for Cy5.

G-Box Chemi HR16 is manufacturered solely by Syngene. Therefore no other products will satisfy agency requirements FAR 6.302-1.
