502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source requirement for a caisson wagon for military funeral honors at Fort Sam Houston, TX. Specifications are proprietary to the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Qty: 1. 502 CONS/LGCA will purchase an identical caisson previously awarded to Tetz Coach & Hearse Company. The proposed contract action will be made using simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested companies may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement.
