Pre-Solicitation/Special Notice for FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES

The 15th Contracting Squadron at Hickam AFB, Hawaii intends to issue a sole source Request For Quotes (RFQ) to a Large Business firm using FAR 12, and the Simple Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. This Request For Quote (RFQ): FA5215-09-T-0002 is for a firm-fixed price (non-personal service) contract to EnRoute Emergency Systems LLC, on a Sole Source basis for the renewal of annual maintenance and software services for the Fire/EMS Computer Aided Dispatching (CAD) System for the Hickam Air Force Base Fire Department. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-27 effective 17 November 2008. The Government intends to award a contract for the following line items: 0001 - Computer Aided Dispatching (CAD) System annual software support, interface capabilities, periodic software version updates/patches and 24 hour support access and 0002- Third Party Products Interface to include maintenance and support of all user interfaces with outside platforms and applications. The performance is December 2008 through 31 September 2009. This proposed contract for service is not a request for competitive proposals and the government intends to solicit and award to only one source IAW FAR 13.501. The NAICS is 511210 and the small business size standard is $23M. This requirement is determined to be available from EnRoute Emergency System LLC because they are the developer, licenser and source code holder of the required products to maintain software updates/patches capability. No formal requests will be issued for this procurement.
