The Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Shreveport LA intends to enter into a sole source contract with Bledsoe Architects LLC, 735 Robinhood Street, Shreveport LA for a follow-on contract to provide drawings and specifications to correct fire and safety deficiencies, 9th and 10th floors. This announcement constitutes the only notice issued; a separate written solicitation will NOT be issued. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.301, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and pen competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The NAICS 541310 applies with a size standard of $4.5M. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will consider all responses to this notice by 2:00 p.m. (CST) June 26, 2007. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses must be in writing to the Contracting Officer.
