The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS, intends to issue a sole source fixed price purchase order to WESTERN ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY LABORATORIES, INC. (WET LABS), 620 APPLEGATE ST, PHILOMATH, OR 97370. Estimated value of these actions is $150K including two (2) option years. The requirement is for (10) C-STAR TRANSMISSOMETERS. The unit must have power input of 12-15 VDC, must have a depth rating of no less than 5000 meters. The unit must be capable of operation in temperature ranges of 0 - 30 degrees centigrade. The unit must be capable of measuring beam transmission at 532 nm. The unit must have an optical pathlength of twenty-five (25) cm. The unit must have a spectral bandwith between 10 and 20 nm. The unit output must be RS232, must be internally grounded. The unit must integrate seamlessly with the SeaBird 911, SeaBird 19, SeaBird 19plus, and the SeaBird 19plus v2 conductivity, temperature, and depth (CTD) sensors. The unit should have capability to meet form-fit function with current instrumentation (data loggers, etc) used by NAVOCEANO. The unit must have power to the unit and should be software switchable.

This requirement will process utilizing FAR 12 and FAR 13 procedures. The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) is 334519 with a business size of 500 employees.
