Project consists of furnishing Architect-Engineer Services for Indefinite Quantity Contract for Type A (Investigation), Type B (Design) and Type C (Inspection of Construction) for construction projects at Birmingham International Airport ANG, B irmingham, AL; Martin ANG Station, Gadsden, AL. The A-E Fees total cumulative amount of all delivery orders will not exceed $3,000,000.00. Each delivery order will not exceed $300,000.00. Delivery orders may be issued for one year under this Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract, and may, at the Governments option, be extended for three years. Significant Evaluation Criteria in descending order of importance are: (1) Professional Qualifications (Architect, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Stru ctural, Environmental and Geo-Technical Engineers); (2)Specialized Experience and Technical Competence (Air Force and Air National Guard Design Criteria and Process Experience and Competence in Design of Various Facilities and Infra-structures on an Air Ba se; (3)Capacity to accomplish work in the required time; (4)Past Performance on contracts with Government and private industry projects in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules; (5)Location of A-E Firm; (6)Volume of work awarded by DOD. Architect-Engineering firms wishing to be considered must submit a SF 330 and a list of previous work accomplished for the Air National Guard (ANG) in the past five years to the Base Civil Engineer, C/O 1Lt Scott Vandenberghe, 540 1 East Lake Blvd, Birmingham, AL, 35217-3545; telephone number (205)714-2221. All responses must be received within 30 days of this publication in order to be considered. No other general notification to firms under consideration for this project is made and no further action is required. If a current (less than one year old) SF 330 has previously been submitted, a letter stating so should be submitted within the above time frame to assure consideration. However a current list of previous ANG work is st ill required. Approximate design dates are: Start: January 07. Complete: January 08 or 09 or 10. This is not a request for proposal. Personal visits for the purpose of discussing this work are discouraged, but interviews by the selection committee w ill be done as part of the final selection process for this contract.
