This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is CT2182-15 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposals (RFP).  The North American Industry Classification System code is 339993, Fastener, Button, Needle, and Pin Manufacturing. This requirement is 100% Total Small Business Setaside.  UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc., intends to enter into a three (3) year firm-fixed-price, requirements type contract for the following commercial item(s): Buttons for use in the production of military and inmate clothing.
