DESCRIPTION:
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation and materials for replacing a culvert and building rolling dips on various roads within the Forks Complex. The urgent and compelling nature of this procurement requires that time be expedited to ensure performance can begin as soon as possible. This notice is intended to allow as much competition as possible given the circumstances.
PROJECT LOCATION AND ACCESS:
The work is located on the Salmon River District of the Klamath National Forest.
PRICE RANGE: The price range is between $25,000 and $100,000.
CONTRACT TIME: Estimated start work date is November 5, 2013 with a contract time of 21 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed.
BONDS: A Payment Bond or Irrevocable Letter of Credit (ILC) in the amount of 100% of the contact price will be required of the successful contractor within 10 days of award.
SITE VISIT:
A pre-bid meeting is not planned at this time. However, it is strongly advised to interested vendors to thoroughly investigate the site to determine the full extent of the work.
SET-ASIDE: This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. NAICS code 237310, with a size standard of $33.5 million average annual receipts.
SOLICIATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) requiring both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about October 29, 2013.
