This is an invitation to bid a new Quick Attack Vehicle to be used by the Burke County EMA. The vehicle shall meet, at a minimum, the attached specifications. It is not the intent of these specifications to keep any manufacturer, dealer or vendor from bidding. Although the drawings depict a Ford, any make or model that meets spec will be considered. All paperwork in these specs is to be completed and submitted with bid to: Burke County Board of Commissioners, Attn: Merv Waldrop, 602 Liberty Street Waynesboro, GA 30830. All bids should be sealed, identified as Burke County QAV Bid on the envelope and received at the office of the Burke County Commissioners by 5:00 PM on Monday February 3rd , 2025. Bids will be opened at the Finance Committee meeting to be held the following Thursday. The bid will be awarded at the Commissioner¿s Meeting on Tuesday, February 11th at 6:00 PM. Any requirements / directions included with attached specifications must be completed and returned with your sealed bid. The Burke County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
