Notice is hereby given that the Burke County Board of Commissioners will let a contract to the lowest responsible, qualified, bidder by sealed bids submitted to the Burke County Board of Commissioners, P.O. Box 89, 602 N. Liberty Street, Waynesboro, Georgia 30830, no later than 5:00 p.m., Tuesday October 12th, 2021, for the Renovations of Burke County Emergency Management Agency Facility. The facility is located at 277 Highway 24 South Waynesboro, GA 30830. Interested companies are asked to attend a Pre-bid meeting on Thursday September 23 at 11:00 a.m. at the site. Bids will be opened during the Commissioners’ meeting on September 14th at 6:00 p.m. No contact can be made with the Building Personnel or any other Burke County personnel. Contacting any individuals with Burke County will disqualify any bidder. Bid package shall contain the bid form, bid bond, and e-verify forms. Bidders can obtain electronic bid documents by sending an email to [email protected]. All questions regarding bid documents shall be sent to the same email address. No questions will be answered via telephone. Proof of General Liability Insurance and Workman’s Compensation Insurance will be required with The Burke County Board of Commissioners listed as an additional insured. The Burke County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities or irregularities and to award the bid based on the highest and best interests of Burke County.
