Project: CVM Equine Hospital, NC State Project # 202120007 Description: This project constructs a new 55,200 GSF Equine Hospital Addition to the CVM Main Building and renovates 22,500 GSF of existing space in the CVM Main Building to replace outdated facilities lacking in vital units for critical care, sports medicine and research space. The new facilities will include in-patient and outpatient equine services, emergency services, orthopedics, surgery, ICU, an isolation building, an arena, horse barns and will house all equine clinical teaching. The project will include expansion of the Central Utility Plant (CUP) and all associated utilities and infrastructure to support the needs of the program.The project will require LEED Silver Certification. Please note that one (1) copies of the proposal are required to be emailed to the project manager; the length of the proposal should be limited to 40 pages total.
