This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the Government to award Sole Source to Dish Network Corporation 9601 South Meridian Boulevard, Englewood, CO 80112-5905. This sole source is in accordance with authority citations 10 USC 2304(c)(1), 41 USC 253(c)(1), and Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6.302-1(a)(1)(i). Dish Network Corporation is considered the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Dish Network is the owner of the existing equipment, and complete replacement of the hardware would not be cost beneficial. Additionally, the downtime associated with replacement would be considered a liability that would inconvenience the government.
