NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION TO TALEN-X INC.:

The 377 Mission Support Group Contracting Office, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico intends to award a sole source contract to TALEN-X INC.: (cage code 7NK54), 1610 SW Main ST STE 202 Ankeny, Iowa 50023-7283, United States. TALEN-X INC will provide two license upgrades to the current BroadSim system, as well as provide upgrades, maintenance, and support to the current BroadSim system through the proposed UMS contract. Talen-X will ensure the BroadSim system is operating properly throughout its life by providing regular upgrades to the current BroadSim system and providing maintenance and support for the system’s hardware and software. Talen-X will ensure the upgrades are for the latest version of software and will perform BroadSim application engineering support for specialized testing.

This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b). The anticipated award date is 30 December 2023 and the entire contract will be for one (1) base year and  four (4) option years.

Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
