NSRDEC BOTAA-17-01 Amendment 0001

The NSRDEC BOTAA-17-01 is hereby amended to incorporate changes as follows:

Section I, Introduction, NSRDEC is hereby replaced with Combat Capabilities Development Command – Soldier Center (CCDC SC). This revision is applicable throughout the BOTAA.

Section III.E is hereby added as follows:

E. IAW U.S.C 2371b, a follow-on production OT agreement or procurement contract may be awarded to the successful participants in the prototype development without use of competitive procedures if: Competitive procedures were used in selection of the parties for participation in the Prototype OT; The participants successfully completed the prototype project. The level of fidelity for production activities is limited to the nature of the prototyping efforts. Follow-on production/sole source may be pursued as a FAR-based contract or Other Transaction Agreement for follow-on activities, subject to the availability of funds. The production award can only be made to the parties who participated in the prototype OT.
