The Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Bethesda (WRNMMCB) Acquisition Management Department, Bethesda, MD on behalf of GENERAL SURGERY CLINIC intends to award a sole source procurement to BARD PERIPHERAL for BREAST BIOPSY NEEDLE SYSTEM. THE BREAST BIOPSY SYSTEM the proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive bids. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award will be made using SAP
