The Town of Braintree is seeking qualifications proposals (qualifications) from firms or persons for Designer Services for renovation of its fire headquarters. The selection procedure that applies to the RFQ is the designer selection procedure for municipalities for the procurement of design services for a building project pursuant to M.G.L. c. 7 Sections 38A1/2-38O. Prior studies are included as part of the RFQ document. Must have current Mass. license and registration as an architect or professional engineer, with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in the design/construction of public buildings. Fee is to be negotiated with selected proposer. There will be an information session for proposers on July 29, 2020 at 3pm at the Braintree Fire Department Headquarters, 1 Union Place, Braintree, MA 02184. RFQ responses are due on August 12, 2020 at 2pm in the Office of the Braintree Contract Administrator, 1 JFK Memorial Drive, Braintree, MA 02184. The Town of Braintree reserve the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the qualifications received, or to reject any and all qualifications, wholly or in part, and to accept qualifications, or to cancel this RFQ if deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
