The Jacksonville Transportation Authority herein after referred to as (the “Authority” or “JTA”) a body politic and corporate and an agency of the State of Florida, located at 100 LaVilla Center Drive, Jacksonville, Florida 32204, hereby requests sealed bids for ITB No. 24-006 BOWDEN ROAD IMPROVEMENTS herein after referred to as (“ITB” or the “Bid”) The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is to solicit competitive bids from qualified contractors to provide construction services at the intersection of US-1/Phillips Highway and Bowden Road as further detailed in the specifications identified in this solicitation under Section III, Specifications & Special Conditions (Scope of Work). The complete Bid package will be available April 26, 2024, and may be obtained by visiting https://jtafla.bonfirehub.com. A complete examination and understanding of information contained in the Bid package is necessary in order for the Bidder to properly submit a Bid. The Bid package also includes a detailed set of Instructions to Bidders. All Bids shall be prepared in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The failure to comply with any requirement contained in the Bid may result in the rejection of the Bid as non-responsive or a finding that the Bidder is not qualified. Bids must be uploaded to the JTA Bonfire Procurement Portal by the date and time identified in this Bid or published via any released addenda. We strongly recommend that you give yourself sufficient time and at least ONE (1) day before Closing Time to begin the uploading process and to finalize your submission. Late bids will not be accepted and the JTA Bonfire Procurement Portal will not accept submissions past the date and time of closing.
