NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to negotiate with and award a sole source contract to Roche Diagnostics Corporation, 9115 Hague Road, Indianapolis, Indiana. The intent of the contemplated contract is to procure Botulinum Toxin ELISA kits. Roche Diagnostics Corporation is the original producer and the only known source for this product.

The use of other than full and open competition for this acquisition is authorized in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Subpart 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties who believe they possess the capabilities to satisfy this requirement should submit a Capability Statement demonstrating their abilities to meet this requirement. All responses will be considered.  All Capability Statements shall be received by the closing date of this synopsis and shall be submitted in writing.
