Requirement is for Boresighting Equipment, NSN: 4920-01-056-3048RN, part number 229-006545-02 used as an alignment tool on F-16 aircraft Head Up Display with a basic quantity of three (3) ea. and four option years, each with a quantity range of one (1) to two (2). Options may be for USAF or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements.
The government does not own data for this item therefore this RFP is being issued sole source to BAE Systems (94117) and approved distributors Allied Defense (0GD25) and Essential Components (0T0H0). Solicitation will issue 5 August 2010 with response due 7 Sept 2010. Delivery for basic is 9 months ARO to DTK002.
Based on Market Research the Government is not using the policies in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items in its solicitation for this effort, however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
