The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a firm fixed price, sole-source purchase order (in accordance with FAR 6.302-1) to the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP), 3001 Broadway Street, Suite 100, Minneapolis, MN 55413, for the purchase of Urgent Bone Marrow Research. NMDP is the only contractor with the capability to provide the research in the time frame required by Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center. The research will include:

1. Non-network Search Management Fee
2. Formal Search Fee
3. Donor Search Activity Fee, to include: blood samples, infectious disease testing, donor work up with additional blood samples, pre-collects high resolution confirmatory HLA typing.
4. Donor Stem Cell Procurement, which will include: donor physical, mobilization stem cell collection, shipping and cancellation fee.

The NAICS code of this procurement is 621999 and the size is $15 million. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all proposals received within three days after date of publication of this synopsis will be reviewed and considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purposed of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Response must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offerors bona fide capability to provide these services.
Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. All information submitted should support the offerors capability to provide the service required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Any interested party may inquire with the below point of contracts.
