Bloom Road Sewage Collection and Treatment System Potter Township (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Bloom Road Sewage Collection and Treatment System 2019-WW1 & 2019-WW2 Bids for the construction of the Project will be received via either the PennBid.net website or hard copy delivered to the Potter Township located at 124 Short Road,, Spring Mills, PA 16875 until Monday, October 7, 2019 at 3:00 PM local time. Bids received will be publicly opened and read after 7:00:00 PM on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 124 Short Road, Spring Mills, PA 16875. The Project includes the following Work: Construction of a sewage collection/ effluent discharge and conveyance system and a 2,000 gpd Orenco treatment system. Bids are requested for the following Contract(s): 2019-WW1 - General / Excavation / Mechanical / Plumbing & 2019-WW2 - Electrical. Obtaining the Bidding Documents The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Nittany Engineering & Assoc, a Century Engineering Company, 2836 Earlystown Road, Centre Hall, PA 16828 Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at no cost either electronically at www.PennBid.net or may be obtained by purchasing for $100.00 (NON-REFUNDABLE includes only USPS regular mail), from the Issuing Office. Make checks for Bidding Documents payable to Century Engineering. All payments are non-refundable. Only bids submitted by plan holders of record will be accepted. The Bidder shall include the fully completed non-collusion affidavit with the bid. Only bids from bidders who have completed the Statement of Bidder’s Qualifications will be considered a valid bid. Pre-bid Conference A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 10:00:00 AM at 124 Short Road, Spring Mills, PA, 16875. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required. Instructions to Bidders. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Potter Township reserves the right to delete portions of the project or the entire project when funds are inadequate and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects, or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion, or to negotiate contract amounts and to reject any and all bids. Bids may be held by Potter Township for up to 60 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract.
