The Department of Transfusion Medicine Services at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii has a requirement for a blood irradiator. The blood irradiator must be FDA approved and it needs to have an annual dosimetry validation confirmed by a third-party (ie. MD Anderson Cancer Institute). The blood irradiator must not utilize an external water or chiller and must by completely self-contained.
The Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B). Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing no later than 9 May 2019 at 10:00 AM Hawaii Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
Vendors are invited to submit information demonstrating their ability to fulfill the requirement in the form of a capability response that addresses the specific requirement identified in this notice.
