The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, transportation, and materials necessary to perform architectural, mechanical, plumbing/fire protection, and electrical work to partially renovate two floors within an existing occupied building. Architectural work includes partial demolition of masonry walls, steel stud partitions, interior doors, suspended ceilings and construction of interior masonry walls, steel stud partitions, interior and exterior doors, suspended acoustical ceilings and restoration of interior finishes. Coordination of government furnished equipment and furniture is required. All utility connections including fire protection, water supply, waste water and vents, power and communications will be made within the building and no exterior utility lines are proposed. Mechanical work consists of partial demolition of the system HVAC systems and installation of new ductwork and equipment. Fire protection work shall consist of reworking the existing sprinkler system as required to serve the renovated spaces. Project will also include installation of fire alarm system. Electrical work includes the installation of new lighting within the renovated spaces as well as new fixtures, circuits, switches and other appurtenances. Electrical work also includes installation of a partial electrical distribution system within the renovated spaces. Work will also include providing and installing overhead raceways for control and power wiring. Work will include receptacles, circuits, disconnects, starters, panelboards, security infrastructure and other appurtenances. Telecommunications work will include work within existing telecomm rooms and, all the horizontal cabling and outlets in the renovated spaces.
