This is the second notice for this invitation for bid. The Billings Area Indian Health Service is requesting bids in accordance with the requirements of Invitation for Bid (IFB)-244-09-0008-TD to construct a new Construction and Demolition (C & D) landfill on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation, Montana. The work includes, but is not limited to, construction of a new landfill cell, installation of a perforated drainage system for the landfill cell, installation of a drainage pond system for leachate from the landfill cell, installation of a pipeline to convey drainage from the landfill cell to the drainage ponds, construction of a new access road to the landfill cell, and installation of new access gate to the landfill cell. The estimated price range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The anticipated release date for the solicitation is August 17, 2009, with bid opening date of 2:00p.m., September 16, 2009. The completion time is three months after notice-to-proceed. The project is restricted to small business concerns. Bids received from concerns that are not small business concerns shall not be considered.
