The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a sole source contract to Blackboard Inc. for Blackboard Training in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Soliciting from a single source. (1) For purchases not exceding the simplified aquistition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name or industrial mobilization.) The contractor shall provide Blackboard Training for the period of 1 Sep 2012 to 30 Apr 2012. This will be a firm-fixed price contract.
