Commercial Variant Trackballs

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

Synopsis/Solicitation N00178- 16-T- 0027 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure Cortron commercial variant Baseline 9 trackballs on a brand name only basis. Cortron, Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only available distributor of the required components. The Cortron commercial variant Baseline 9 trackballs are compatible with the current training systems being used.

Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.

Quote is due 15 January, no later than 12:00 p.m. EST with an anticipated award date by 22 January 2016.
