Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC Atlantic) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to SAIC 12010 Sunset Hills Rd. Reston, VA is the only vendor that can provide the material/services as they have the exclusive knowledge of the systems. SAIC is the only company with the skill set to overcome any obstacles that may arise while trouble shooting the BKS SMG systems. This will result in a lower cost and the ability to meet the fleet's needs in the timeframe required. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly be able to provide the services outlined in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
