Special Notice
Notice of Proposed Contract Action
This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract. The award is to be a Firm-Fixed Price contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), "Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available." The contracting officer has determined that only one source is reasonably available: BioFire Defense, LLC located at 79 W 4500 S Ste 14, Salt Lake City, UT 84107-2663, the only known source capable of meeting the requirement.
The Department of the Air Force has a requirement for Biothreat Surveillance Supplies as follows:
§ The vendor will provide all consumables and accessories for the FilmArray systems.
§ Vendor will deliver reagents with a minimum remaining shelf life of 6 months.
§ Delivery: 2 Weeks ADC
