This is a proposed sole source acquisition to Sophia Genetics Inc., for the purchase of clinical genetic sequencing interpretative services at Keesler Air Force Base (KAFB), Mississippi, and Period of Performance 25 May 2019 - 31 Jul 2019. The solicitation will be posted to http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 10 May 2019. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 621511 and the size standard is $32.5 million. The government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of the solicitation. The solicitation may be downloaded from FedBizOpps, since copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. All prospective offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of contract with any DOD agency. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.sam.gov. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. However, all proposals received before the offer due date specified on the solicitation/RFQ will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
