Biggie Integrated Resource Service Contract (IRSC)

This solicitation and any resultant contract is a stewardship project in accordance with Section 323 of Public Law 108-7 (16 U.S.C. 2104 Note, as revised February 28, 2003 to reflect sec. 323 of J.J. Res. 2 as enrolled), the Consolidated Appropriations Resolution, 2003, amending Public Law 105-277, sec. 347.

The contract includes the following components: thinning for whole tree sawlog removal (239 acres tractor logging, 150 acres of cable yarding) with an estimated volume of 38,500 tons , hauling of slash, thinning for biomass removal (235 acres tractor and 120 acres cable yarding) with an estimated volume of 11,000 tons, road maintenance, road reconstruction, erosion control work, road decommissioning, water source improvement, and mastication of fuels (189 acres).

The road reconstruction estimate is $from 100,000 to $250,000. Payment and/or performance bonds will be required for construction work only.

A site visit will be schedule and announced in the solicitation.

The solicitation will be available on or about July 20, 2018. Offer due dates will be on or about August 21, 2018
