Provide all necessary labor and materials to paint approximately 7,631 sq. ft. of the interior rooms 328,329,330,338,339, 341,352,355 of the BGS building. Install approximately 800 linear feet of wall protection vinyl through the classrooms (spec attached). Also, paint all stucco interior stairways (floors 1, 2, 3) on the west side of the building. Vista Paint Uniprime 4000. License needed for the project is C-33. 1. In classrooms move all chairs, desks, clocks and other items to the building hallways.(Do not remove the media desks, projectors, protect in place). 2. In classrooms protect in place all non-painted items such as; ceilings, lighting, floors, baseboard, furniture, vents, doors and door frames. 3. In classrooms and stairwells (stucco areas) prep, patch, sand existing interior walls, surfaces must be clean, smooth, dry and free from dirt, dust and other contaminants. 4. Remove all loose, peeling or chalky paint by sanding, scraping, or other appropriate methods. 5. All patching must be textured to surrounding wall textures 6. Remove and reinstall all switch plates, corner guards, cork boards, pencil sharpeners during the painting process. 7. Surfaces to be painted are to receive a full primer coat and two coats of interior finish paint. Manufacturer states 2-4 hrs. between coats, color draw-downs of room colors to be submitted to the owner before starting the project for approval. 8. Install Wall protection guard Vinyl/Aluminums eggshell chair rail (see attached) walls will be identified. Submit a sample for approval before application. 9. All paints and primers will be low VOC 10. Final cleanup is the responsibility of the painting contractor. Includes spillage, paint buckets, all protective cloth and anything deriding from the painting project. 11. Replace all furniture in classrooms as previously arranged 12. Painting contractor to provide stock paint of each color to owner for future touch-ups. One gallon per room minimum per color of un-opened paint can to be provided. 13. Paint contractor to provide (in writing) all manufactures and contractors warranty as required.
