The United States Air Forces Central Command (USAFCENT) A7KA intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a Sole Source basis to Raytheon Trusted Computer Solutions (RTCS). Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The period of performance for this contract is anticipated to be from on or about 30 November 2015 to 5 February 2016 and is required to provide the BICES upgrade to the Trusted Thin Client Software. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responses received within three (3) days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
