This project involves the construction of a ten (10) foot wide, switchback, asphalt trail to connect Betzwood Park to the Schuylkill River Trail. Additional improvements associated with the trail connection include a retaining wall, approximately four (4) feet high, the installation of stormwater inlets and manhole with associated piping, and various landscaping improvements. All material, labor, and equipment necessary shall be in accordance with Penn DOT Publication 408 and Township Standards. Asphalt materials shall be based on PennDOT’s February 2020 Asphalt Cement Price Index.
