Contract SPE1C1-15-D-1056 was awarded to Northwest Woolen Mills on 27 May 2015 for the manufacture and delivery of the Army and Air Force wool Berets (12 different styles and colors). This is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type contract. The minimum quantity is 55,000 for all items combined and the contract maximum quantity is 1,825,000 each over the life of the contract for all items combined. This contract has a one-year base period, and four (4) on-year term options for a total possible contract length of five (5) years.

The scope of the contract is the universe of berets and the core items are the Beret, Wool, Army and the Beret, Wool, Air Force manufactured in accordance with CR-PD 01-09 date 30 July 2001; Pattern date 11 February 2003.

This contract contains Clause 52.216-9006 Addition/Deletion of Items and all contract terms and conditions apply to the addition of any items. The Beret, Wool, Dark Olive Green, Afghan National Army (6 NSNs) may be added to subject contract accordingly and it is anticipated that these items will be added to the above contract around December 31, 2015; reference below for the PGC and NSNs. Delivery is as follows: 120 days after date of first order, and 90 days after date of order during production.
