The 673d Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska, intends to award a firm fixed price, single-source contract to Beckman Coulter., Brea, California, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The proposed contract action is for the acquisition of regularly scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration (on-site) for a IQ200 Series Urine Microscopy Analyzer Workcell located at the 673 Medical Group, Joint Base Elmendorf- Richardson, Alaska.
The 673 Medical Group requires a maintenance and service agreement that provides all personnel, equipment, tools, testing equipment, transportation, parts, materials, supervision and any other items necessary to perform preventive maintenance and calibration (on-site) for the IQ200 Series Urine Microscopy Analyzer Workcell. Additional requirements are to provide technical support staff on 24 hour/7 days a week basis for the analyzer.
Period of Performance
Base Year: 01 Feb 2024 – 31 January 2025
Option Year 1: 01 Feb 2025 – 31 January 2026
Option Year 2: 01 Feb 2026 – 31 January 2027
The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this simplified acquisition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).
THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE.
The circumstances of this contract action deem one single source is reasonably available to fulfill the stated requirement. Interested organizations, who believe they can meet the requirement, may submit their capability statements to perform the requirement in writing to [email protected] and [email protected] no later than 2:00 PM, AKDT, Friday, 12 January 2024. The interested organizations must specify their ability to provide unlimited access to technical support staff on 24 hour/7 days a week basis (Performance Work Statement (PWS) Section 5.2.3.) A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications will not be accepted in response to this notice. No request for proposals or quotes will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
