 Project Location Maud S. to The Lady is located just east of Butte, Montana. To get there take the Continental Drive exit off of Interstate 90 just east of Butte. After the exit head north and turn into the Maud S. Trailhead Parking Lot. Hike up the Maud S. Canyon Trail approximately three miles. At the end of three miles there are several signs stating you are on the Continental Divide. Work on the Maud S. to The Lady Project ends here. Follow flags and stakes to the beginning of the project approximately 3/4 mile northeast of The Lady of the Rockies.
Access to the project shall be granted by the private landowner to the road that the project crosses near STA 18 to the awarded bidder. Access shall not be granted to view the project prior to bidding through the private land. Quoters must hike up the Maud S. Canyon to see the trail. Dirt bikes are not allowed on the Maud S. Trail System. 

Description of Work The project consists of constructing over three miles of new Continental Divide National Scenic Trail. Construction items include clearing and grubbing, turns, dips, sign installation and major rock excavation. Stake refreshing and cleanup are required in this contract. Due to the extensive rock excavation, quoters must have a licensed blaster to use explosives in the state of Montana or have someone on the payroll licensed.
