The Forest Service is in need of conifer seed used to restore and reforest National Forest System land and for Tree Improvement (TI) genetic testing. The purpose of this solicitation is to secure services for tree climbing, cone caging, and collecting cones, pollen and scion from individual whitebark pine (WBP), Douglas-fir (DF) and ponderosa pine (PP) trees in accordance with all safety requirements for such work, and specialized tree improvement work as directed by the Government. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies, and incidentals to perform the work (except those items designated as Government-furnished property). The Contractor assumes all risks of loss or damage to his/her equipment and injury to self or employees.
